About discipline
Backgammon is a type of backgammon board game used in a competitive environment with well-defined rules and regulations. Unlike backgammon, this discipline has its own characteristics of the game, in particular, a different dynamic of interaction between players.
Within the federation, sports backgammon is considered as a separate direction with its own tournaments, ratings and development system. The game combines strategic planning, positional thinking and risk control, making it interesting for both beginners and experienced players.
Rules of the game
In sports backgammon, two players participate, each of whom has 15 chips. The game is played on a standard board with 24 points.
Players take turns rolling two dice and moving their chips according to the rolled values. The main goal is to move all your chips across the board and remove them before your opponent.
The key feature of the discipline is that the opponent's pieces do not "fight", that is, they do not return to their original position. This creates a different logic of the game, where the blocking of the opponent's movement and the correct placement of one's own chips play an important role.

Sports backgammon tournaments are held according to predetermined regulations and may include different formats.

Ethical behavior is a mandatory component of participation in tournaments.

Fast game— parties with a limited time
